AimControllers Warranty Plans Terms And Conditions
AimControllers offers two distinct warranty plans for its gaming controller products, each providing varying levels of coverage and protection. This legal brief aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the terms and conditions of these warranty plans specifically for AimControllers’ customers, ensuring clarity and transparency regarding the rights and obligations thereof.
§ 1 Warranty Plans Overview
AimControllers provides its customers with the following warranty plans:
- Accidental Insurance (AimSurance) 36 months: Priced at EUR 45, this Plan includes Hall Effect coverage and extends to cover accidental damages, providing a gift card with a coupon code equivalent to the original product value for replacement purposes. The Plan covers the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One controllers.
- Accidental Insurance (AimSurance) 60 months: Priced at EUR 65, this Plan also includes Hall Effect coverage and offers lifetime protection against accidental damages, providing a replacement gift card in case of damage. The Plan covers the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One controllers.
§ 2 Warranty Plan Coverage Details
The aforementioned warranty plans cover the following equipment and damages:
Accidental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a 36-month period and Accidental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a 60 months period for analog problems apply to PS5, PS4, and Xbox controllers, and cover any accidental damage issues, including damage caused by accidental water spillage, dropping, smashing and/or misuse.
§ 3 Warranty Claim Process
The warranty claim submission process shall proceed as follows.
For Accidental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a 36-month period and Accidental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a 60 months period – customers must contact AimControllers support via email [email protected] to initiate a claim. Upon eligibility confirmation, the customer receives a gift card equivalent to the original product value, and the returned product becomes the property of AimControllers.
If an AimControllers representative determines that the customer is eligible to exercise their warranty claims plan, the claims process shall proceed as follows:
- The customer shall return the controller to the Aim location indicated during the email complaint process (AimControllers, Sportowa 11, 18-500 Kolno, Poland).
- Upon receipt of the controller, the customer shall be sent a gift card with a coupon code for the amount of the original order (excluding shipping costs and the cost of the purchased plan – the product itself).
- The returned product will not be returned to the customer and may be used according to AimControllers’ preference.
§ 4 Shipping Costs
AimControllers covers shipping costs for the first 90 days of warranty claims. Beyond this period, shipping costs shall be borne by the customer.
§ 5 Amendment of Plans
All customers shall reserve the right to supplement any of the plans after placing an order. Each plan may be added even after the order has been placed, however, before the order status changes to “Completed” after prior contact with support via the following address: [email protected].
